7 Times Joe Rogan Talks Cold Plunges on His Podcast + Other Random Joe Rogan Cold Plunge Stuff

Joe Rogan’s the homie.

And lately he’s been a cold homie 🥶 And truly, this is recent.  I mean, his FIRST cold plunge was in May of 2023, just 6-ish months ago. See this video.

But even though that was his first physical cold plunge, he’s been chatting about cold exposure for a long time.

Before we get into the top 11 times that Joe Rogan has talked cold plunges, cold exposure, and cold therapy on his podcast, we’ll jump into something that everyone here cares about–which cold plunge he owns.

What Cold Plunge Does Joe Rogan Use?

Joe Rogan has the Morozko Prism Forge. At the time of writing this article, it costs $19,990.

This thing is a beast! It’s basically commercial grade as it can maintain water temperatures low enough to produce ice for up to 36 cold plunges per day. When you watch Joe Rogan get in and out of it, there are massive chunks of ice. It is wicked cold!

Joe Rogan’s ice bath temperature can get as low as 33F.

My sister and dad actually coincidentally hopped in one of these exact models the other day in LA during a retreat. The tub read a temperature of 37F. However, there’s a catch. The bottom of the tip, where you sit, had a nice layer of ice. So while the surface temperature was 37, the bottom of the tub was below 32F. Long story short, this thing gets cold.

Joe Rogan Ice Bath Routine

Last we heard, here was Joe Rogan’s routine:

  • Wake up and immediately do 3 minutes in his cold plunge
  • Then, get into his sauna at 190F
  • Then, work out

He used to workout and then do a cold plunge but after his conversation with Andrew Huberman (which you can reference above), he has changed his routine due to the potential of reducing muscle hypertrophy if you workout and then cold plunge.
