This is a standard cold plunge for me and my wife. This is roughly 10 minutes or so from our home, has a dirt parking lot within 100 yards or so of the river entrance, and is fairly quiet. As it’s a rushing river, the water movement makes it feel even colder than it is. The water is very cold in spring and early summer with the snow-melt, and does warm up at end of summer and early fall, but still cold enough to get the plunge feeling.

There is an area where the water is not rushing as quick as the river, but does require to walk a bit on rocks, and then lay down in order to get fully submerged as water is not very deep.
